A Message from the Aqaba Marine Park,

Aqaba boasts hundreds of coral and fish species creating a dizzying tapestry of colors and shapes.The complex vividness of our marine inheritance is juxtaposed against the stark beauty of the desert and mountains that melt into the blue waters of the Gulf of Aqaba.

The need to safeguard this fragile wealth has led to the establishment of the Aqaba Marine Park (AMP). This multi-use marine park has been created to preserve the near shore marine environment for the enjoyment of future generations of visitors form Jordan and from abroad.

We believe that the key to the park’s success lies in the co-operation of all stakeholders, local and foreign, in supporting the park and its’ efforts.  The park is constantly searching for new and innovative ways for engaging the stakeholders in an effort to keep the park healthy and thriving.
